SMALL BATCH-DEAD STOCK AND VINTAGE-MANUFACTURED IN THE US-LA DESIGNED-ALWAYS
What can be reclaimed?
We dreamt of purposeful fashion, of repurposed fashion without high-class pretension. In 2016, we rediscovered a '60's screen printing press in Temecula and brought it to our studio in South Central. We asked if there was fashion for the otherwise-- a fashion in honor of "rudie" rebelliousness, of hippie quixotic creativity, of Old-Western grit. With locally sourced deadstock and vintage materials- abandoned in favor of fast fashion-polyester-we bagan making what we dreamt of: cut and sew tees, tapered denim pieces, felt trucker hats. In 2022, we opened our first store on Melrose. Since then we've been operating as a garment printing workshop, customization studio and space for others who believe in fashion otherwise. We create in hopes of reclaiming the art of self sufficiency, sustainable production and functional fashion. In short, down to earth, for the earth-in hopes of reclaiming.
